The HTC-W series is the result of over 30 years experience in tube hone design and manufacturing, combined with inputs from our customers around the globe. Most of the systems are custom-built and have enough power and sensibility to work from diameter 25 mm up to 1‘000 mm. The stock removal rate is given through a 10 kW servo drive and a 4-step gearbox. This configuration ensures optimum power in the whole diameter range and a stock removal rate up to 1‘000 cm³/h.

Together with the Sunnen tools, abrasives and coolant oils, all the HTC-W systems are working at their top performance and will meet everybody’s production demands.

The HTC-X series is derived from the well-known Tube Hone series and has been specially developed to hone workpieces with particularly small diameters and large lengths. In particular, the use of innovative, sensitive controls enables the economical production of high-precision bores with diameters of 4–30 mm or 7–60 mm. The machine comes in two versions for bore length up to 945 mm or 1’945 mm.

All components of the machine have been optimized for this specific task, e.g., the high-pressure cooling system or the workpiece clamping. Whichever system you choose, they are working at their top performance and will meet everyone’s production demands.

Let yourself be inspired by the Swiss HTS series from Sunnen. With a state-of-the-art design, the rigid HTS series is completely covered to the floor and comes as a unique modular concept, built to exceed highest demands for production.

The HTS machine reaches up to enormous 1’600 cm³/h. Anywhere at anytime the system therefore is extendable by either 4 m or 6 m honing length. The rack and pinion stroker system in combination with the 15 kW spindle power and the harmonized gear box ensures optimal and constant power over the whole range. The HTH-S series has now more power and an easy set-up control with wide 10.4“ colour touch screen panel. With the 7.5 kW spindle drive system and the 4-step gearbox the HTH-S ensure maximum power in the whole diameter range (up to 800 cm³/h). In addition the system works with a belt driven tool drive which guarantees smooth working conditions and shock protection for the gear box.

It is the first system of its kind which offers high flexibility on a production level. Together with the Sunnen tools, abrasives and coolant oils all the HTH-S systems are working at their top performance and will meet customized production demands.

This series is the ultimate tool for high-production applications. For this purpose, Sunnen’s leading Tube Hone system offers a unique removal rate of more than 2,500 cm³/h, available in two versions, the HTD-X300W and the HTD-X400W.
