  /O/ < 0.002 mm, — 0.001 mm
• Rifles, gun barrels, missile launchers: Tolerances H6/7,
  O < 0.005 mm, // < 0.010 mm,  surface Ra 0.2 - < 0.15 µm

Advantages of honing

• Improved life time, no influencing of heat to material structure of the surface, outstanding bore quality improves friction values,
  perfect processing of interrupted surfaces (e.g. rifling structure),
  edge polishing of rifling structure with special tools
